Domain Renewal Group = Epic Fail
A story about Domain Renewal Group trying to scam me^H^H^H^H^H^H^H make me renew my domain.
Hello Domain Renewal Group. I have indeed received your letter that notifies me that I need to renew my domain pmarichal.net as quickly as possible before it expires (somewhat mid 2010) and that I need to “Act today!” (WTF ???). That I will receive the best savings possible. That I need to secure to retain my rights. That failure to renew may result in loss of my online identity. Blah blah blah.
And you even acknowledge and slip into your letter that it is time to transfer my domain from my current registrar to you.
Let me put it clearly in front on everybody so that this won’t be lost:
I HAVE NEVER REGISTERED MY DOMAIN WITH YOU. AND I DON’T INTEND TO DO IT, EVER.
Is it clear enough ? Do you really think that I would pay 10€/year more with you than my current registrar ?
You already tried this with other peoples and it didn’t work. Please, stop, you’re embarrassing yourselves (but you don’t care of course).
It is even not a nice try. It’s epic fail all over the place.
I didn’t knew it was still possible to receive spam snailmail in the 21st century. Thank you Domain Renewal Group to remind me to always be vigilant.
