Hi everyone. My name is Philippe Marichal, I’m 41 (soon 42) and I have a degree in Computer Science (nowadays, in Belgium it’s called a Master, it’s fancier but it is not was is on my diploma). I’m nearly maried (Hi my Angel !), but totally the father of two wonderfull boys (Hi guys !).

My Job

With more than 15 year of experience, I’ve worked in multiple environments, with multiple languages and systems but always in financial company (banking, clearing, …) either as staff of as a contractor.

My first job was C development on AIX for a backend server. Now I’m doing system tooling in .Net and python (happy and lucky man to be as far as I know the only one in the company to work with Python).

Besides my day job, I also created with some of my friends netday.be (I’m the coder/designer), the best custom maps site, specially for Counter-Strike Source, but also for Day of Defeat, Left 4 Dead, Team Fortress 2 or even Call of Duty 4.
